Tributes
Gary
My darling. Not a day goes by that you are not in my thoughts. You really were the kindest of people even through all your own problems. Always having time for others. My world isn’t and never will be the same without you in it. I hold you in my heart and there you will stay till we meet again. Daniel misses you immeasurably too. Our love for you remains as strong as ever. Sleep tight my boy xxx
Paul Tyler Breeze
The most beautiful, funny, loving, popular and by far, the most intelligent person I have ever known. My blood, my home, my brother. Words cannot express the loss and regret and how much I miss you. The most gorgeous person there ever was xx
Joe Southam
Our Joe was a unique individual. Quirky, intelligent and with a huge desire to experience everything. The high point of his short life was a trip to Russia just a month before he died. Who else would convince a Cosmonaut to pose for a selfie, and barter with a slightly scary Russian market trader to get a good deal on a furry hat! Sadly his thirst for knowledge led him to experiment with drugs once too often and he died in his sleep just before he was 16. Loved so much and missed forever.
Nicholas Stephen Mills
Half my soul
And half my heart
Fused like glue
Right from the start
You had me
And I had you
We always came
As Us, As Two.
I watch you
While I’m in the sky
And wish that you
Knew how to fly
So you could come
And sit with me
In unison
As One. As We.
But just for now
I’ll have to wait
Until we meet
At heaven’s gate
And don’t forget
From night, to day
I’ll keep you safe
And guide your way.
Nicholas (Nicky)
Nicky was my second born. He had a lovely nature. He was helpful and generous, with a good business mind. He left home at the age of 16 which is the legal adult age in Scotland. Initially he created a successful independent life. However, he was easily lead by the wrong crowd he surrounded himself with. He passed away on his 31st birthday of a Fentanyl overdose. Our hearts have been broken to thousand pieces.
Christian John k/a Ian Cachia
My beloved firstborn, Ian, was a burst of kindness and energy—loud, lively, and deeply caring.
He lived his short life to the fullest, loved travelling, cared deeply for animals, and was passionate about cars. His absence is a silence that echoes through our home, a void beyond measure. Life can be cruel; prejudice wounds, and support often fails, yet Ian’s brief life was a blessing. He revealed truths hidden beneath appearances and deepened our appreciation of each moment.
As long as love survives, he remains alive among us in spirit.
Sponsored Tributes
The tributes below have been shared by individuals who have donated significant funds in memory of their loved one. These generous contributions help us continue providing vital support to families bereaved by addiction.

1991-2022
Amy Louise Shepard
Amy was known for making the people around her laugh, her inside jokes with family and friends and her infectious laugh. Loosing our sister is the hardest thing we have ever gone through- we lost a part of us that day that she went away, and our hearts will forever be broken. We miss her dance moves, sitting with her re-watching her favourite programmes on repeat, and her sarcastic.. sometimes savage humour!
We constantly talk about the good times and all the memories that were made along the way, and we hold onto them so dearly, and that way Amy is truly alive in our hearts forever.
